Using LCP (liquid crystal polymer) as the dome substrate, a deposition process usually reserved for expensive precision devices creates a high-rigidity artificial diamond layer with a SP3 bond much higher than that of DLC, giving the dome material higher rigidity and more balanced internal damping than previous solutions, thereby delivering greater extension and richer details in the treble region than previous generations of comparable drivers. Selecting flexible,high-damping polyurethane as the suspension material ensures better bass dynamics and lower distortion at large amplitudes. The Kadenz diaphragm composed of three high-performance materials results in a dynamic driver that is in no way inferior to triple-frequency hybrids.
